He found peace and happiness there.


This was taken last year after the Louisville Reunion at Doc Sheriff's property. Ken and Joe 2004.

An quote from Doc Sheriff:

Ken Sawyer was a fello Corpsman and my mentor. Some times when we were in the rear they would send us together into Villiages to treat the Vietnamese.
All I ever did was hand Ken what he needed and agree with him.
There was no one that cared more about fello Vets than Ken.
