Our Mission
ission of the Third Recon Vietnam

The men of the 3rd Recon Vietnam have joined together in camaraderie
and fellowship for the purpose of preserving the traditions and promoting
the interests of the 3rd Recon Battalion and of the United States Marine Corps.
This worthy goal is accomplished by banding together those that fought in Vietnam
and the young warriors who are now serving with 3rd Recon;
aiding and rendering assistance to all 3rd Recon Marines and former Marines
and to their widows and orphans, and by perpetuating the history of the 3rd Recon Battalion
and the United States Marine Corps through fitting acts to observe the anniversaries
of historical occasions of particular interest to Marines.

To promote research and understanding and healing with a regard to those who so served;
and to promote artistic expression of the Vietnam experience.
